AIKEN, S.C. — Recruiters from over 100 colleges and universities will be available to meet with high school students and parents at this year’s CSRA College Night, which will take place tomorrow, Sept. 11, 5-8:00 p.m., at the Augusta Convention Center. Seniors will have the opportunity to win one of 15 $1,000 scholarships. Admission is free and open to the public.

Entering its third decade, CSRA College Night has served tens of thousands of participants and awarded over $400,000 in scholarships since its inception in 1993. The continued success of this event is thanks to the dedication of hundreds of SRS volunteers and the generosity of local sponsors. According to Cindy Hewitt, SRNS Education Outreach Specialist, College Night impacted 4,700 attendees last year alone. “For 30 years, this event has continued to be a huge night for high school students in our area,” said Hewitt. “College Night if the one night of the year where students can see all their options in one convenient location. Whether it’s higher education, military, or apprenticeships— there is something here for everyone.”
