Love Jeopardy and Science? Then, the Science Bowl is the competition for you! This quiz bowl style competition tests students’ academic skills in the areas of Biology, Chemistry, Earth and Space Science, Mathematics and Physics.

Who can participate?
High school students in the state of South Carolina and Richmond and Columbia County in Georgia are invited to participate in this year’s Savannah River Regional Science Bowl.

Maximum number of teams per school: 2
Registration fee: N/A
Registration for 2027 opens October 2026
The Savannah River Regional Event was held Saturday, February 21, 2026
Lakeside High School Team 1 won the Regional Science Bowl and advances to compete at the National Science Bowl April 30 – May 4, 2026.
